Discussion: How is a student eligible for special education? What factors will not qualify a student for special education?
If we are unable to meet, you will be required to answer the discussion question in this forum. Complete Activity 2.2 on page 43. Make sure to describe whether the situation is fair or unfair, and how you came to the conclusion based upon what you read in the chapter.
Complete Activity 2.3 on page 51. Think about who you would go to on your own staff for support with each of these student scenarios. Complete Activity 1.3 on page 25 to determine the types of assessment that may need to be included in the comprehensive assessment plan. You will look to the chart on page 23 for the types of assessment available. You do not need to rewrite the scenarios, however make sure to explain why you would use the individual assessment.
